For sure... And if you look at the prices of what they sell for after the conversion... Your just adding equity to the bike...

I just want more power than I can handle, I guess LOL

Lance, not looking to pay more than $1200 for a running bike, thanks for the info though.

I can build one for about a third of that, and on the 06 platform. I fabricate for a living, and I have my own fab shop in my garage, so that makes things a little easier.

This today on CL....1997 Cr 500 parting out or sell whole have everthing but rear shock. Still runs good.

Yeah, Ive kicked it around between Mike and Rod down at the property, but they dont have anything.

I do have a lead on a pretty clean 89 right now though, well see how that works out.

Looks like the 89 is going to work out, im going to pick it up next saturday in moses lake... Hopefully it doesnt fall through. Has an FMF gnarly pipe and silencer, and is very well taken care of... Keeping my fingers crossed...
