Just heard that Mikey and his daddy (or at least I would bet it was all Tony) got into it with their mechanic, and the KTM Boss (Pit Beier - sp?) pulled his bike for the second moto. Guess that pissed them off, and they left KTM. Apparently KTM's feeling about the departure is mutual (you think)! Heard this from someone I know that works for KTM North America (good source)!

Poor kid, as I really think Mike is a hard worker, and a damn good rider. His daddy needed to step away from him, and trust the folks trying to help them a long time ago. Those folks have WAY more experience than TA thinks he has!

We will see!

Heard another rumor on a European site that has Stewart in talks to ride KTM's next year? That is too bad, as I like KTM's, but cant stand Stewart! That would surprise me for sure, but at this point I could see him thinking he could do it?

That would be a huge name for the Moto Concepts team to land!

Am I the only one that is just tired of Mike Alessi. I saw a picture of him from last year in the nationals flipping someone off during a moto. I just want him to GO AWAY!

The more I see of his dad (on TV, in print, etc) I can't say I blame Mike for the way he is. His dad is a bit of a monster.

I'm a Mike Alessi fan and still believe in the hype! I enjoy watching him pull holeshots!
Hopefully he can stay healthy and make a run at the title..

Hell, why don't he just focus on a Holeshot Award season only...Just pull holeshots, collect his 2k and pull off and let the racing resume. That's a pretty good days salary for a 10 second job.

After the way the Alessi's came into the pro scene, they loose my respect for life.
They try to make up for it one day. The next two days they pull stupid crap.
How much deeper can they dig their hole?

I really think 100% of their problem is Tony, as he is a dumb azz! I think Mike would be alright, IF he was away from daddy. We met both him and Jeff when my youngest raced the KJSC Anaheim 3 (2003), and they seem to be both nice kids really. As soon as dumb azz came around, they seemed almost scared of him and headed towards the trailer. Seems like Jeff finally reallized it was all about Mikey, and went his own direction? Tony seems to be creating his own demise actually, it is just unfortunate his talented kid will be outcasted even worse now!

Believe the hype, Toni's a boner! I never liked the Alessi's. And every time I see Mike get cleaned out I smile. Like Eric said they came into the Pro ranks all wrong but I am impressed with Mikes determination, he is a tough little F#@K#% for sure. A prick maybe but fast and tough. Remember everyone there motocross racers NOT role models.
