Triple Clamp problems?

I have an 01 KX 250 that I just recently bought and I cannot keep the bars lined up with the front tire. I kick the tire to line them up and the first time you land hard or stick the front end hard in a corner they go crooked again. I was having to stop like every lap or two this weekend. I'm not sure if the clamps are misaligned or what. Any Ideas? Thanks

My KX did the same thing even on a lite crash. Switched to 1 1/8 inch bar with a one piece upper bar clamp.

I had a 99 back in the day and had a lot of the same thing going on. I remember Ryan Hemans down at Seattle Cycle Center sold me the bar mount grommets that were rubber on the top half, with aluminum on the bottom half. They solved the problem until the rubber started getting soft then the problem started returning.

You could always go with an applied triple clamp.

I was wondering about the rubber in the upper clamp, I'll get some new ones and try that. Now just fork seals and some suspension work. I'm starting to miss my crf.

My 99 had the same problem, I made a set of solid cones and the issue ended.

The mounting bilts are bent or the lower tripple clamp. We (DeVol Engineering) have the strongest one piece
bar clamp in the industry, but see what's bent first.
