Where is Hearts Pass and Goat Greek? I've mainly ridden Baker, a little at Fish Lake and once at Gold Creek. Hate going alone as I've been stuck for hours before at dusk!

Looking for new places to ride where it's safe and fun.

I'm with ya Eric on Salmon La Sac but gotta recommend going the back way - through 29 Pines and Ingalls for a good ride. Only lost one sled there, Ingalls I mean and even at that was I road it out. I blame it on #62 Pike he's the one that got me into sledding. That dude managed to put me and our gang in more life-&-death (my words) situations than anybody I know. Sure makes one appreciate survival techniques in the cold of winter tens of miles from nowhere... and peeps with grips like steel. Iron workers gotta love'em! P.S. if #62 Pike's building da sled suggest taking along plenty of spare parts. Good imagination and building skills would like additional forethought next time. Dude 800cc tops don't really match well with 700cc cranks. A for effort (she was a beauty) but C on carry through.

29 Pines - Google [it's-a-verb-it's-a-noun] Maps

Mull, hearts pass and goat creek are off of highway 20, north cascades highway. we both have houses in chelan so we go up from the east side through winthrop. the snow is so deep there already and they got another foot or so today! there are some big climbs and lots of boondocking.

Come on ryan625 it aint fair you tossing out things like "dragon" and "riding" without offering some detail. People wanna know. For example I'll offer up a textual sample of one of my most beloved sandwiches a Subway "Toasted Jalapeno, Onion and Olive Steak & Cheese topped with Chipotle sauce" thing and so in return if you could describe (in some detail please) what a "dragon"-wonder-machine (wonder-machine being my words) I'd appreciate it. Same goes for the ride. It's been many-a-year since my last sled ride and would appreciate some colour. Pleeeeeease.

sorry about being so bland!
its an 08 Polaris RMK Dragon with a 155" track, SLP Single pipe, y pipe, and can, SLP vent Kits, SLP Airbox, V-Force 3 Reeds, Aftermarket Windshield, and De-Decaled.

And as for riding, went up Gold Creek out of the Methow today and tore up some freshly laid untracked powder that I would say was about 4-5 feet deep on average under a bright blue sunny sky!

Yea Ken ,, real estate and property taxes and still cheap up there. Isolated yes. Ferry county also just acquired an old railroad piece from Republic to Danville near the Canadian border for a walking-bicycle path. I thinks its over 20 miles. Beautiful area.

yes, i too am a dragon 800 owner and even with these updates the sleds are still having trouble around the lower elevations. spend some money and you can make them a reliable sled. but i have a tough time doing that when i can have two bikes or one snowmobile that is used 3 months out of the year????
