Eric, I am up in Alaska doing some snowmobiling with Heath. Those hot doggers work great. We put a couple of burritos in them and in about 15 minutes of riding you have hot food. We went up into Denali state park and had a great time last weekend. Headed back up there again this weekend. I will send some pics. Great picture you just posted!
I'm almost ready...picking up my "new used" (new to me) 900 Cat this Friday... Lookout Pass should be ready for some shakedown logging road runs by Sunday.
Way excited about riding sleds again this year...I took last winter off. First winter I didn't ride sleds since I was 5 years old!!!
It appears by the long-range forecast this is setting up to be a great sled winter!! They are talking snow almost everyday starting Saturday and then some single digit temps and more snow later in the week.. north of Spokane. Last year we didn't see much around here locally.

Past weekend (Nov 13, 2010) here in Gods own N. Bend WA. the snow was "half way down on the hill". Ha? so what's that mean!
As I peer out my own Front Windows, Tilt head left and look North up left side of WA's Mt Si WA, I look for Snow, Calc distance (top-of-Mt-to-me) 3k-.5k and guesstimate Winters arrival.
Nov 13 Morn first real snow was way-down-on-hill. Half way down. Would have been a sign if I'd had my ole sled (Polaris) but alas da sleds gone, Animals in da hood are trained (or not). Squirrels be-a fighting over a few meager peanuts tossed out back door. We all survived the worst wind storm in the past 30x odd years but I'm not so sure about the storm on the USA horizon. That political thing.
Bikes are prepped, GM Vett's ready to go and as is me and my self-contained super quiet Honda red monster 2K hand-carry-generator. It's ready too. I got plenty of water, fuel, flares and blankets. I'M READY! I tell ya for 2010-2011 LA-NINIA NW when it's me vs da elements baby.
I survived last weekends worst blow in my 30 years here and with the help of an ole 2004 Grey HEMI Powered Dodge PU and maybe me Toyo's HT's will hookup too. Who knows maybe I'll be able to cast aside that ole GM iron (Vette) and make a new break and go Green? Talk about rambling!
Sorry all, my fingers got ahead of my brain and my brain was way behind my thoughts and it was my thoughts that said. The Past-Present-and-Future are now and there's now diff between being infinitely-big-or-infinitely-small. Same, same.
Only relevant thing here is ... can you? (big picture) IMAGINE?

I'll leave the jumping down cliffs to Waunch though.
JUST don't follow him is my only advice. It's really the safest bet We're on Aaron! It's not too far away as I know there are some people road riding right now.

You could always ride this type of MX!

Those look Sick! Especially for the cascade crud we get here (thick). I'm moving to Anchorage in January... (I've heard its beautiful that time of year ) not sure how those things perform up there in the light snow. Once we get settled, I'll be on the hunt for some sleds! I'll have to recruit some of my moto buds up for sno"machine" vacations....
