Guilty as charged Paul! I have more than three laps in me though....

And I though I did it just because I got more riding. Confused

We practiced for 2&1/2 hours tonight over at Sharky's and had a ball though. And I'll be passing up whatever race is going on in a week and a half to go out to Ward Creek. I think it just might be too late for me......

I didn't know Jody had a Ph.d? Or any degree for that matter. I just requested his book through wsu's inter library loan, hopefully it's interesting.

The gopher totally reminds me of PAGGIO on bubbas world, what a dink lol.

Nothing wrong with being a professional practicer, I think the MXPPA has a different attitude than the ones Jody described.

Depending on what the quack says, I may just be there also Aaron. I think I can tape my thumb up tight enough to putt around the track.

What about just plain old amateur practice riders? We only manage to ride a few times per year so there is no way we could feel safe about signing up for a race.

I would race if I could get enough seat time to even remember how to ride. For now I'm just happy to throw a leg over the bike every 3-4 months and go through that funny "oh yeah, this is what riding feels like" sensation for the first 15-20 minute session.

Then the next 15 minute session I start to remember a few techniques and shake some rust off... then the third session, oh wait, there is no third session because I'm too tired after the first two brief rides.

That being said, I just looked at my calendar and it looks like I'm due for a ride soon. August 6th 2009, check, March 2nd 2010, check.... looks like Monday May 31st will have to do because the Newport MX track is open for the holiday on Monday Smile I think it is meant to be, usually there are no tracks open when I get a day off....

What is up with that anyway, it would be nice to see a track open for practice more than 1-2 days per week.

Enough rambling for one day.
