Exactly...

Forks are generally around 2-3 grand for big hit bikes, shocks around 1 grand...then components another 2-3 grand...

$8000-9000 pretty easy for those bikes.

An off the shelf FOES or Intense DH bike is $6-7000.

And yes, they don't have motors!

Freak'n scary all those "pinkike" pics but I gotta tell ya that Pete Treadwell (Fly) had all that back in 1990 doing Sport-Guide tours over at Cle-Elems (WA) Coal Hills #9-3-xxx ... hell who knows anymore?

Point being Pete made monster off-the-mtn-over-the-road-avoid-da-downage leaps even back then.
