Soo I was thinking about tracks that have come and gone and was wondering if anyone knows the story behind castle rock closing down a while back. It weird, it seemed like it just closed, and no one ever noticed it...
I remember racing there on 80s in 1999 when I first got into tracks and having a blast at it. Does anyone know if its still there at all?? Maybe someone can get it going sometime again??

SMC built the track with equipment provide by Castlerock it took us about 6 days to build it and put in starting gate.the plan was to have Elaine Derrick and crmc to take over the track and run races. But our bad turn outs and lack of interest from CRMC was the end.
I am sure there is more but I wasn't close to the politics
