Anyone tried the "new" No-Toil. It's supposed to not have any alcohol. It's alot thicker going on and is a ugly green color. It doesn't seem to absorb into the foam as well. I'm sure it will perform fine, just isn't as easy to apply.

HA! I bought some of that right before we went to Mt. View last weekend. Anyway, I put it on Brendan's bike, and it started bogging. I'm guessing I over did it. I usually use the aerosol and am not used to using the liquid. As for the Kawy green, that's just different. I put the other filter on with the red stuff, and the thing ran great.

I'm going to pitch it and stick with the red aerosol.

I've been watching this "thread" but swore off a response but alas I can't.

I'm a Blue Ray Lover ever since way back. One-part-B-2-Petro (gloveless) so gotta ask. Is "Topical" really better than full-saturation?

Git-yer-hands-dirty folks. Quality-vs-WannaBees. Soak those filters in "stickem-fluids" so long as the dirt stays apart from the working parts of the engine.

One brand is no diff than the next so long as the Engine suffers NO damage (as measured) in my book.

Not sure if it's a parent issue or a kids one that whole passing on but suspect it's a generational thing.

Kids listen to gramps and ignore parents. It's generational. I know I listened to gramp but never heard Pop. Maybe Gramps-N-Ma's observing words just makes sense.

Posted Aug 15th, 2010 3:27PM. Outside Temp 89.6F. River outside home still runs wild same goes for Squirrels, Bears, Elk, Deer and such. Old guy is beginning to wonder how much longer?

Well the ugly green stuff did it's job. After an hour and a half of silty dust, I could scrape the dust off the filter. Inside was perfectly clean, not a spec got through.

i am with you on the belray and getting you hands dirty.
I have only changed my methods once I have been experementing with K&N for a while with no problems so far
Still use belray and good filter washed in gas then washed in dawn until clean.
I have rebuilt many friends engines that use lazy sally red spray.

I don't think I'd use the spray, but the liquid is great.

You do realize that using the 'RED' is just your inner self telling you to ride 'RED' Smile

We have been using NO-Toil for years now even before it was available in the spray can. With three boys riding it is cheaper to buy the large bottle and pour it in a metal pressurized solvent can, it sprays out just fine.
I like being able to throw a dozen filters in the washing machine,(no mess)and the filters last for years.
