Correction this is Chris's 2nd indoor win this year he took an overall at Pasco as well. sunday was low turnout track was reversed so the first turn went into the "mean whoops" and they were pretty tough you had to commit to pound through them fast. saturday there were qualifiers and i think 15 pros like sharkey said but only 8 on sunday anstett took a win in lites and crater won the 450.

Thanks for the info!Like I said kinda long trip, and last trip up there was in some snow storm = 10 mph on I-5 and really FROZE while there!! Seems like the riders at the Seattle area ride indoors more agressive?? then down here?? we seem to block pass north riders tend to "hit' in corners?? We ride with 221 and 439 so not a big deal just my thoughts! JR

Last time Jeff raced at Salem, he block passed(no contact) a local and the guy went down(tipped over). He waited until Jeff came around again and took a swing at him as he went by. Then John Marshall's mom ran over and smacked the dude in he chest. He was so shocked.
JR, I think you will find in the pro class that the racing is clean and that if ferd285 isn't there, very little contact. Wink

I guess we all see things different when in a new place? Seen lots of weird stuff everywhere so should rethink my stereo-typing of different areas, stupid stuff happens all over. Thanks again for the responce's never heard what the total count was on riders? Payout this weekend was good enough to keep us thinking we should stay local. JR

My .02 on the contact thing is this. Arenacross is a contact sport. I think I had more fun watching Mr. Ford by the way in the one race bangin bars with quite a few riders including my son than I did the rest of the pro races on Saturday. In arenacross there is going to be some contact here and there. Its tight and not alot of places to pass. Sometimes if someone leaves the door cracked a bit you gotta bump it open a bit more to pass. My son unintentionally took out a "veteran" pro in the 450 LCQ. He apologized to the guy but was pretty much blown off. First 250 race the same guy intentionally goes out of his way to punt my son off the track. What do I care its racing. My son took it a bit personal but I told him to keep it on the track and to focus on the win not on revenge. Next 250 pro moto the guy isnt even in the picture and with the help of Mr. Crater (ha ha) almost had second but pulled off 3rd in his second weekend in the pro class. Bottom line theres gonna be contact off and on in arenacross. Dont take it personal its just racing.

I've raced arenacross since I was on a 50 and i've grown up watching the big boys block pass or take out another rider when it's neccisary and thats how exactly how i race nobody wants to knock a rider off his bike but if it happens it happens, it's arenacross

I was just kidding you, Keith. I'm sure it's way cleaner now than when you started.
