It's 7:09p.m. in the (50F) balmy metropolis of North Bend WA. The pass is closed local roads (stores) too. The rivers are full and all sorta stuff is floating by on the middle fork of the Snoqualmie river need proof scope out NWCN. It’s raining raining and more raining out here in the wilderness and the man says it's gonna let up. I believe him. This aint that wimpy Seattle kinda rain this is real deal. It's the makes me wanna build a boat or maybe honker down with a good sandwich kinda rain. Cleaned me gutters this morning before heading into work scapped snow coming home. Living in the hood is great!

Will I-90 be open in time for Saturday's race. I think so. Actually if the temps and rain keep up the pass should be no problem heading either direction come Sat. Friday. But that's just me, what do I know. Only lived out here in the hood fer (some might say) a while.

Good Luck! Looks like Eatonville to Elbe to Morton to I-5 might get you past Lake I-5.

OLYMPIA - As expected, WSDOT has closed I-5 from milepost 68 (11 miles south of Chehalis) to milespost 88 (about 20 miles south of Olympia).

It looks like the highway 12 route, eatonville-elbe rout puts you south of the lake.

Here is the map

I dont think eatonville-elbe route is going to work either?

Im from Olympia, if anyone knows a route that will work let me know..

WSDOT site says;

I-5 - The right two southbound lanes of I-5 near Fife are closed due to water over the roadway. The left northbound lane is also closed. Note: total I-5 closure listed below in Thurston County.

A seven-mile stretch of SR 162 is closed from Orville Road to just outside the town limits of South Prairie (milepost 11 to 17.5).
SR 165 near Church Street in Wilkeson is closed due to flood waters.
Standing water on I-5, SR 16, and SR 512 is creating potentially hazardous conditions for motorists.

SR 410 at Traffic Avenue in Sumner is closed due to water over the roadway.

SR 161 northbound is closed at 317th Street E and SR 161 southbound at 304th Street E due to water over the roadway. No detour available.

SR 7 southbound is closed at Elbe. This is a manned closure, local traffic only south of Elbe on SR 7.

SR 7 northbound is closed at 132nd Street in Spanaway due to water over the roadway. Southbound traffic is able to move through the area. Northbound motorists are being detoured off the roadway at 133rd Street.

I barely have enough money for the race. I have to save some money to rebuild my motor after the series. well hopefully in the break before lewiston and I still need to get some rims. It is almost better to just get one of these used bikes with the prices
