Peeps, and Seniors alike Ron's done us all good by postig WHR data in-grid-format but we still got a tad-bit-work to do before data-becomes-something-usable…information.
I’m hoping yer all running MS products (smile) and have a Spread-Sheet app (like Excel) loaded cause here’s the short cut (legal honest) if ya are: 1) Open MS Excel (have it in-waiting) 2) Open Lee’s 2010 NW Arenacross Nations page (http://www.whrmotorsports.com/2010NWAXPoints.htm) 3) Select 125 Int title beginning-to-end (cause it’s all 125 Int) 4) Copy all the data into memory (CTRL-C) 5) Past it all into cell A1 (forget-that-Past-Special crap) 6) Select All (CTRL-A) 7) Menu | Data | Filter | Autofilter 8) From column “Racer Id” (E) select DOWN-ARROW 9) Choose from list 125BEG..250PRO..Vets Open..Women - There’s a gazillion! To find your rider Wanna dump the data into a database? MS Access is simple enough. It’s not very strong but enough so fer home use. Want to really keep it simple then leave the data in Excel and create separate tabs for each event. Works but makes filtering (like SQL queries) a pain-in-da-aXz if ya know what I mean. Thanks Ron for the data. Me I’ll archive it and play it against past-and-future NW MX stars building my own private performance models. Long, Short, Fast, Slow, Finishes Etc. It’s all good. |
