Twas the place to be.

Lee laid out a four lane track with long straight 90's and 180's and whoops too. Twas good enough but for this observer a bit shy of pro level.

Pros had only two places to pass and that was in turn 3 or 4 each 180's. The first following a series of whoops and the second some tables and doubles. Nobody ever passed in the double-double-single (triple-triple) section #3.

Racing was good but I'm afraid to say not great. Good because it's been a great while since I've attended such an event and not so great in that 3x-4x pro riders showed up.

The local pros did us proud #99, #153, #555 etc...

Maybe it's a sign of the times I don't know

...more (da-edit part) .. Chris Howell #222 phoned me up Monday (Nov 22, 2010) exactly as he said he would and chewed me for failing to mention "him" along with Abrigo, Crater and Jerry in my post. Sorry Chris. What can I say? $Checks in the mail, I'm looking into that sticker thing, you done real good, and it's KW-of-the-Duwamish-Tribe. Did I mention Subway sandwiches are real good too?

I thought the racing was pretty good out there I will agree that in some of the pro classes the passing was harder but I don't think it took away from the show. I was still impressed with the speed of these riders

My daughter was a little worried about the whoops but thats the way it rolls for a beginner. She kept it on 2 wheels and went through them just fine by the end of the night

I also hope everyone made it back over the pass to the west side. There were a few brillant drivers up there on our way home on Sunday

we drove back on Sunday. crossed pass at about 5 it wasn't to bad. I have seen it a lot worse

I thought some of the pro races were good. There was some good bar to bar stuff all over. Although it did get alittle rough. Saw a couple chicken wings there.

I thought the racing was good, tight and technical track but what arenacross isn't, Duncan Sakai (724 Suzuki) shocked the hell out of me with a holeshot and better speed than I expected out of him in the beginner heat race, especially after not even seeing him in Lynden, he must have been buried in the pack. Then I got the holeshot in the beginner main and he was all over me and got by and then I threw it away dropping it in a corner, looks like I need to start exercising if I wanna beat these younger guys.
