it was a really good track today, I had the most fun I've had all year and I got out for 6 practices. The Whoop's were HUUUGE, I sure hope they are smaller tommorow, I like to ride the whole track not ride around obstacles, but those thing's were waaaay beyond my ability, as well as everybody else there except very few pros

I have to agree with darius228 track was a hoot, not having to do with a start gate opens all sorts of opportunities.

I'm writing this on a Wednesday from my remote post in Gods own North Bend WA. The temps are 32F and the snow's a-falling even as I write and doc says I'll live but gotta get an examination, suump'n about sticking a rod up my tail pipe and looking for bumps. I said I was looking at same last night and went-round-outside-easy-way. Bumps looked BAD! Snow continues fall even as I write.

It's a balmy 34F at 1:00PM on Dec 29, 2010 which is a steep rise from a 32F 2hrs previous. Big flakes and Snow Plows in da hood but it's my day off from MX.

Lee has a good track laid out for anybody has the will to face NW elements to get there. The way I figure it is it's a two Subway drive and a one "Toasted Jalapeno, Onion and Olive Steak & Cheese topped with Chipotle sauce sandwich" to ride.

Saw the best of the best at yesterday's 12/29 practice. Temps were mild 40F something track was 4x lanes with 35' and 25' double's and 2x 20' tables. Far side rhythm section (wall) was simple double 3x into 180. I could only do first of 3x and being freak'n scared outta-my-mind. EW stopped by the Gray Beast Dodge Hemi Wonder Powered Wonder Machine with good advice but was too late, I'd missed the main double in the middle section doing my-brake-check-fork-plant-case b~!@ smak gotta-stop-now-ough event maneuver. Good advise none-the-less. I knew his was from lap #1 to end I did but fear over took me. I had a picture in my mind, I knew the physics had the knowledge that gravity sucks. It was that that saved me all night.

Twas bad…It's a long tradition of mine that in the middle of a race I start thinking about other stuff, did I pay $bill, turn off the stove, can't get hurt, is that freak’n XXX I’m chassing... Twas bad. 1985-till-now is how long it’s taken be to get back to Monroe as a "track rider", racers here will know of which I speak. I'm a MXPPA member these days and even this type (AX) proved daunting. I have too much respect for Lee to at lest not make a try. I did and here's the rest.

Physics peeps - Gravity Sucks. I made Doc’s appointment day before for other reasons but twas all good. Blood counts right on and this ole-fart made Lees' AX huck. It's a good day Wahoo!

I'd just cleared Lees pre-leap-table leading into big-huck for the umpth time but then I didn't make a-clean-one and well..doc say's all is good from that just gotta see a rear seat driver Doc for next thing, another story. MX used to focus my mind.

Track was good for pre AX pros with whoops good rhythms in all lanes and had people suffering for poor judgement (3x jumps). Track had stuff for beginners, ole timers, and pros too.

Bottom line, Lees Monroe practice rates a 2x Subway day December 28, 2010

wow ken. well we went today. NOBODY there. maybe 50 bikes total. MAYBE???? and were home already with 3 hrs left. pretty stinkin cold tonight. heard the morning session had half as many riders as tonight. cant imagine lee could do this again with a turnout like this. your right though tracks have more options when you can use all the dirt available. without the starting straight allowed for alot more stuff

It's no wonder Brian given snow conditions in N. Bend WA

I only hope Lee breaks even. I know I did with Docs report that I'm fine. I'm good for one.

Suggest more of Subways best .. "Toasted Jalapeno, Onion and Olive Steak & Cheese topped with Chipotle sauce" sandwich for better attendance.
