Nope that wasn't me. I didn't make it down to the last weekend for PRO but I was at Toes. Good to know that people are looking for me at the tracks. =]

Was it you then taking today's (4.3.2010) shots of pro dudes Jake Anstett #474 and Joey Ruminer #642 hucking that impromptu 95'er going backwards off the side of Steve's monster Huck-Fest jump. Some how Joey found a jump-to-side-of-hill-thing and then Jake waxed it to a jump-to-other-side-of-hill-thing.

No matter cause it was Awesome!

P.S. I skated Toes Whoops three (3) times (outta 20), someday hope to be as good as Dominic. Dave #63 was doing a good in da whoops like Dom and even had words for me. I listened and tried but the more I tried the worse I got. Dave left and I slowed down (over exaggerated a wheelie...like he said) and the whoops smoothed out. EW said to do the same as I recall a couple weeks ago.

Wahoo! I love skipping across the top of whoops, makes me feel like I can actually ride even if for a micro second.

LB, ya dun good.

I went to your SmugMug site and I scanned through photos of last weekends rides. The day was awesome and so many thanks for you putting up with the cold temps. I was riding with #62's boy (who managed to chase me down for a pass by the way) and only stopped cause I'm to old, to cold, to tired, and I complain to much to have continued.

I loved your series of pics because they not only show racers but they show the human side of racing. Good action, people, and background shots.

LB ... $Check's in the mail.

P.S. Was wondering if you had all the physics down when you pulled off the page 16-of-18 shots? ( http://lesliebrownphotography....U7PC#826907397_Dcgpy). Those guys were jumping right over you?

Pretty gutsy.

Thank you Ken!

Getting feed back like this helps me a lot and motivates me even more to take more and more pics! =]

On some of those shots where I was shooting from underneath the riders were from the ramp so I was fairly confident that they would make the landing. However, on the 95 footer floater jump that Joey and Jake were hitting I was relying on luck. I picked a spot on the side of the gigantic dirt landing that I believed was low enough for them to miss me but the right angle to get the shots. Luckily it was a lucky spot I chose!
