I have a vacation day in da-bank and so can't imagine a better way to spend it then at Burnt Ridge ( Events ).

The Weather Channel says it's supposed to be in the 80's come Thursday which means cool temps in the morning and by 4:00PM hot. I'm a 9:00-2:00 sorta guy. $Pay me fees and ride until I'm tired.

Q: Will the Snak-shak be open on Thursday, I really do look forward to an-end-of-the-day-burger, sorta a tradition. Like my morning thing "Stop-at-McDonalds-fer-Sandwich-Coffee-HashBrowns" kinda tradition.

I would love to Tone Show, but I will be hanging out at the Washington State Building Trades Convention instead. Joy. Frown

I am stoked however for the Mantrip. We are dialed and ready. Did you get the reservations made?

Just got to figure out how to make it vote....

No booth, just a delegate you know.

Anyway, don't have too much fun down there.

Big time fun Paul,

Thursday July 29, 2010 at the Ridge was all that!

I pulled into the parking lot a half hour late only to hear our man Paul complaining about my "no-show". Twas there. Temps were in the high 50F's at 9:30AM with clouds overhead. Track had riders on it but looked kinda gooey so to me - no prob with timing. Apparently not so with Paul.

Paul (#061) wandered over to let me know ... diff layout. I' went slow on lap #1 and then picked it up on two-five. Layout was diff so thanks out to Paul. Didn't stop me from jumping-the-good-jump but gotta admit I have my days and today was one. No jumping the finish line triple. Big HOOT on the up-hill-step-up-table jump though. Some Int's and most pros' were making the huck to up-hill landing ramp just like this ole-timer. Once, twice is all I figure it takes in order to post the truth-of-it here on EW's site. Wahoo!

Weather was good arriving with clouds and temps in 50-low-60's and by 2:00PM had changed to 70F and clear skys. Track was watered in the morning and needed nothing more all day. Only high-sided once in a failed attempt to make a 90er righty corner post triple-down-hill-huck. Made the leap missed the turn. Twas as good as one could hope considering the numbers. No scrapes, no bruises, no pain, no bike damage. I count it as a positive (w/bragging rights)
