Sounds like Riverdale is in pretty good shape. Dan says only the two tables by trees are muddy. I should be there tomorrow.

Why Paul should I go tomorrow (1.23.2010) WHEN I have plans to be planted on my mtn bike for a few morning hours only to be followed by many internet hrs following that. I log into live-web-audio and hearing Holly and Wygant? describe (real-time) what’s going on in SX so why should I abandon that for a maybe at Riverdale?

Words-&-Pics dude Words-&-Pics.

I know The-Dale is in yer hood but it’s not in mine. I place it at 2x-sigma driving distance from my hood (formerly known as Pikes-Hood) which means good-enough-track-but-long-drive. So why or what would entice a peep to drive miles, mis-SX-web-live, spend $gas bucks, do-maintenance before and aft for a jaunt around Riverdale.

Love the place for sure but … why should I cancel, $spend, maintain-scoot, all for a 75%er chance at a good track. It’s been a while since I was there last (1 yr - when that Ruiminer dude made rounds on the red-wonder-machine) I know but know it’s up to you to add “COLOR” to the EW Forums to convince me. Dude, why should I abandon-all-my-plans-for-a-day-trip-to-RIVERDALE in the hopes of a most-magnificent-race-track.

Why?

They have a Subway on the way Ken Big Grin

Riverdale was pretty darn good today. Weather was perfect, track was good. Only one section that was muddy. If it doesn't rain tonight and they groom it, tomorrow should be real good.

I did forget to mention that there are lots of quads. It wasn't a big deal but just be aware.

I went to riverdale this wknd and that place seems to be really underated in my opinion. I was there pretty much all day monday and seen maybe a total of 8 bikes. The track is pretty fun and the corners always shape up real nice. Jay Whipple was out on a dozer building a new high speed section to add onto the existing layout which should make things better. It just seems weird to me that so few people show up to ride this place. Its hardly ever crowded enough to the point where they have to split up practice into groups and the owner is very open to suggestions about what the riders want as far as jumps go. I think its definitely worth the extra drive (past the ranch) to get in as much seat time as i want...

The track is really good with the new additions it is WAAAAY longer then it was when I went out 3 weeks ago and the existing layout has some good changes also. Got nice and rough a lot of fast guys out there today everyone needs to come out here.

We just wanted to let everyone know that we are running a special this Sunday, July 25. Practice will be $20 and only $15 if you have 3 or more to a vehicle. Saturday will be the normal $25. Only the main track will be open this weekend due to our Smoke & Thunder drag race.

Thank you.
