The track is called Cadillac Ranch and will open at the end of MAY. It's a 400 acre facility with a 3 minute plus outdoor track and a worcs track . I had someone go out there Friday and check it out and they said it was bitchin! The guy who runs it said they still have some work to do on the main track, but will be open the last week of MAY! I will post details as soon as I get them.

Anybody have directions/info? I pass thru that area from time to time and would love to check it out (and report).

Please let them get something in Granite Falls =)

All, I visited the track today and all i can say is this place looks SICK! This place has a ton of potential. Track looks good now. but it's fresh so it needs to settle in a bit. Not only do they have the HUGE mx track but they are starting everything off with a tuff truck coarse, jeep barrel racing field, and mud bog all already built and seperate from the track. in the plans is a full set of trails for worcs and hare scrambles. The property is huge and abutts Weyerhaeuser. they said they will open 5 days a week opening soon! I can't wait!!!

By the way, they are having a jeep barrel racing, tuff truck and mud bog event this weekend. Go check it out.

Ahhh yes, click on the image for the photo album...

I had them all in order but for some reason the upload scrambled them. You'll get the picture. They told me Ross J. was running 2:30 lap times...? Which still seems crazy cause the track is so long! But it definitly looks FAST

I am missing some shots of a couple other sections but to be honest, the pics don't do it justice.

Ted, Rocks... well the roost isn't going to feel good (small rocks mixed with Top Soil). but the've moved a lot of dirt around the property so rocks didn't appear to be an issue. The rocks I've seen in this area must only be on my jobsites because they were big and plentiful...
You'll want to have your next event here!

If I were them, I would be very careful with that track. Thurston county is about the worst county to have a track in, and I highly doubt they have gone legit with the county. If this track gets too much play, the county will shut it down in an instant.

I think however, people should enjoy it while it lasts, because the county isnt going allow it if they try and go legit, so ride it while you can...

Not being negative, just being a realist, thurston co. is terrible. If people want to keep that place to ride, they need to keep quiet about it. Anybody remember what happened to Dicks track???

From the looks of the website Justin they might have been running for a while with off road truck stuff. Hopefully they got all the stuff done with the county when they started doing the off road truck stuff.

Well if they can make it work, that would be great.

it sounds like they own a lot of land all around the prop (not just the 400acres its built on). Plus its up against Weyerhaeuser... they got insurance & water (but needs a better way to spread it). It's ideal!!!

Thanks justin for casting the negative shadow on our dreams... Wink
