Stopped by TBT Today and travis told me they are beginning to move dirt tomorow for the track that has been up in the air for sometime. So i stopped by the fair grounds on the way home from work and noticed a guy on a dozer on the back hill pushing dirt. Went and talked to the guy on dozer and sure enough they are beginning on the track which is expected to be done on the 24th with a big open house. Apparently the track is running on the back hillside and will connect to the center of the oval track with the layout being very similar to daytona supercross. Experienced track builder, Brent something?? Looking forward to it! I'll keep you guys posted as i pass it on the way home everyday

Moving more dirt today and bringing some in. They have a HUGE rock sifter over there cleaning all the dirt

They had one section built when i stopped by the other night. Looked very tame as of now, but ill swing by after work again and see how things are going

Track is really taking shape now. No Back of Hill side. Big Track is between the 5/8 oval and the 3/8 oval. Small track will be between 3/8 and 1/8. about a 100' long whoop section sandy Millville style, sand section will be cool, track will flow excellent with the layout! They plan on running a Thursday night race series. Sounds like they are shooting to open up for practice in early Sept. Dirt is Epic

Thursday night racing? Too good to be true! Hopefully not too pricey, can see us there a lot!!

No doubt another place to ride and race can only be a good thing nowdays. I can't wait to see it when it gets all done hope its soon

That's perfect. Run on top of others date and split the low number of riders still with jobs so none of the promoters make any money.
That's a plan for success isn't it.

Hey everyone, glad to here you are getting excited about the new track! It's super close to being done and is turning out really cool. I designed the track and have been working hard with Brent for the past week and a half screening the rocks out of the dirt and importing truckload after truckload to the site. The track is a mix between a SX layout with outdoor style jumps and corners. This is something that hasn't been done before in the NW and being inside the Evergreen Speedway gives it such a cool atmosphere! Brent Davis and I (Ryan Abrigo) will be running the practices and races also. I will try and post some pics of the track when it's all done.

Come out to the Evergreen State Fair on the 27th to see me and a few fast friends spin some laps.

Also to you Ted, we wanted to do a Thursday night series to allow the riders to still make it to the big races on the weekends like P.R.O., Pac West, Goldstar etc...

Good job Ryan. Glad someone is trying to make a difference. I don't know what I'm going to do with all the diesel fuel I'll save. I can't imagine what it would be like to ride without watching the fuel gauge on the truck go from full to empty, in one day.

As for Thursday, well its fine with this pro practicer.

I thought I read there will be a place for the kids to ride. Is that true? If so, what skill level? Will it be open on weekends at all for practice?
