Maybe you should just "go east." Wink

Mull and I went to Toes, we had talked about going to Oak Harbor and we were joking about how track owners always say "It's prime, etc..."

Strode was the best at that! Ha. I knew it would be pretty slimy up there, didn't really want to go 180 miles when I could have went 30, but figured right. Toes was prime. Oak Harbor should be pretty good next weekend.

Oak harbor was the best conditions I've ridden there before. I sure wish ross would stay off the track with his damn tractor or atleast have a flagger that has a clue of where to stand and what to do. It was good conditions but man it would be really nice if most of the jump's were stretched out, or take a little off the lip or something, it's kinda tough slowing down for everything to avoid over jumping everything by 10 or 20 feet feet. I really wanted to stretch the leg's on the fo fiddy.

Was wondering if this track is a big bike track or is it a track that I can take my kid to and they can be able to ride it? I need a place that my 9 year old can gain confidence on we have been to Toes and its fine for big bikes but for a beginner on a 85 the main track was to beat up to ride and not be a safety issue for the others on the track and her self but we still had a good day riding there

Hutchracer, this place is bad for smaller kids. Take Kari over to Toes.

Take your kid to Riverdale or Woodland. Great places to learn confidence.

Isn't that the truth! One minute your going around with bikes and the next your passing a John Deere on the back side of a table.
Just crazy the way things can happen out there.

Ross' track is pretty fun, but not for little kids. Several of the doubles are only doubles on the ends, they are more like ditches in between. Cant really roll them. That's why I leave my boys at home when I go there.

Yeah it looks like we need to go to Toes or Riverdale or one of the others. Man I wish there was a place closer to our house everything is at least 60+ miles to the closest MX track to ride. I don't know many people with their own practice track to ride on. I need some dry weather so we can work on something at the house.

I've heard from several people over the last week that Ross recently rebuilt his track. It was quoted as "being made into an old man's track". I did not drive by there today on my way past but I may have to check it out.
