Great weekend for the whole Meusling family.BEAUTIFUL SUNNY WEATHER made the race very enjoyable. Low turnout of riders made it a little easier, yet very hard to make the cut in the 450 class.Same with moving on to the to the main. Neat to see a rider show up in just a pickup get to the main, yea we went up with just a bike in the back of a truck.
Most know about Mike Horban and his standin ride with H&H he also gets my pick for TOP NW privateer.
EW
Nice of see you again, little distracted at these races. You need to come by after and hang out. We all went out to celebrate across the street at a kinda high class restaurant, party type guys from race wanted doors open with cool wind blowing in. We wanted doors closed, final outcome TWO Bouncers escort them out. They get replaced with another party group of 5 guys and 4 gals who I assume would be from the ADULT MOVIE industry. This entertainment goes from hittin on other guys at the bar,lap dance with one of the guys, photo shoot with two girls kissing, short dialog about current STD's,all this in a spendy place, guess us HILLYBILLY TYPE from Broadacres OR just aren't used to the Seattle lifestyle? Whole night was just GREAT,first ever Main in SX. JR

Nice job. The kid looked good!
Was Horbin riding an outdoor suspended bike? He rode great for having such a soft setup.

JR, I have never met your son but I was rooting him on the whole way. REALLY REALLY cool.

Was cool to see Smail get that award, not sure what it was for as the sound system the 300 level isn't that good.

I got to have Bob Hannah re-sign a picture I had him sign in 1979.

I heard about Lance getting an award on monday.
They did the award before hardly anyone was in the stadium. Of course there wasn't enough time during the 4 20 minute breaks they had during the event to do it. Sheesh.

SX Money or rather lack of
Same as befor cost to enter $200 have really good night with 18th in main. Get check (better sit down) from ama for $340. Payout was so much more then I thought, we skipped a day of work to drive to Salt lake City. JR

Got my $230 from racing the SX Lites at Seattle... what a bunch of bs the payout is at SX. We don't race SX to make a bunch of money but when race gas is $100, entry fees are $200, that's ridiculous to race SX for basically free...
