Turnout was pretty good, maybe even very good considering all the events going on. We had Seafair in Seattle (Hydroplane races on lake Washington) and Pro races in Spokane (with BIG $Bucks) and I'm convinced there must'a been a Subway sandwich race going on somewhere. All in all it was a good turnout. As a matter of fact all of the classes, Fast-Big, Slow-Big and small were just about the perfect size for the track. Not to heavy not to lite. The day, it was warm but not hot the sun was'a shinning (bet my Doc's busting me for that) and the track was tilled in the morn and moist and perfect .. yup! Me and my garden rake well we went out early and picked a stone or two and then we rode. Not my rake but my bike and I. Took two. Big and small but 450 was my mount. Sometimes ya just gotta have it easy. We all rode. Fast and slow big and small and life was good. We did it for a good cause and we had fun and we did it on a good track. We did it becasue it was the right thing to do. Me, Paul, Vern, #62, Osaka, Heavy747, EW#849 and all the rest. We had fun. We enjoyed life talked smak and ate ribs and Dogs.
Yup..turnout was pretty good. Maybe not "Toasted Jalapeno, Onion and Olive Steak & Cheese topped with Chipotle sauce sandwich" good but pretty good none-the-less.
Oh..did I mention..I cleared the uphill table, lots. Wahoo! Peeps, will someone please pass me "two" Subway foot longs and heavy on the Jalapenos (big smile) please.

Did anyone see this kid riding the CRF100??? I know many of you didn't know who he was. This is a good buddy of mine, Tyler Egbert. 6 years ago Tyler was hurt BAD. He was one of the fast supermini riders from the Northwest. He spent 4 weeks in a coma at Childrens Hospital. I can't remember how many trips I made down to see Tyler. This day at Pacific was the first time I saw Tyler riding since he got hurt 6 years ago. One great day!!!
