I just called Bob Lattimar. He is at the track and said practice is on. He and Pacific Raceways are separate so the comunication is not so good.
MXGRAMMY just posted that she contacted Pacific and they said there is no practice. Sorry but that is wrong.

There is Practice Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Sorry about giving the wrong information. I called because we did not want to show up only to find gates closed.

Does any one have any information on any races at Pacific for this summer?

I went to the track this afternoon. I got there intending to ride but it was starting to get muddy and rain. I'm a mud wuss. The track looks cool. The new rythym section, where the old double double after the tunnel, is kinda weird. The rest of the track looks great.

Got pictures of the new track and a short vid of what Drew called the whoops section. They are about 4+ feet tall right now and spaced pretty close together.

Weather in the afternoon pretty much sucked, but it was good for mud practice. Track is pretty much backwards from opening this season. See the video at: Pacific Raceways Video

I'll post some pic's too. Hard to tell much different in the photos from last layout tho.

Went to the schedule that is now posted on Pacific's website and it does not define which is a race day versus practice days. They all look like practice days. Are there going to be any races at the track?

Man, I thought having to avoid that black irrigation pipe was tough. Now I am going to have to avoid a BIG red arrow on the backside of the finish line. At least they could have put it on the other side so hopefully my competition would run into it before I do and I could pass them before they made it to the finish line. What good does it do if they hit it after the finish line; the race is over and I still get last Frown

I like the new layout, and think it will only get better with Lance running the track. To bad it was raining yesterday. The track looks way better than it used to be. Something for everyone, and I don't think you'll see so many injuries as in the past.

Sydney really likes the new layout.
