I know this is last minute, but I just found out.

I just got back from the place. Last nights rain kept me away until 2:00 and even then I didn't ride (raked rocks instead) but a few people did including #55 and #528 from Idaho and our own #34 on a yellow bike. Bill (grandpa) was there too clutching that checked flag of his. I'd say he was talk'n smak but he wasn't besides how much smak can an ole guy talk if an old guy talks smak?

It looks like they're adding dirt here-and-there and from what I can tell the new stuff holds water well and is pliable (forms ruts but reshapes itself too). With the heavy rains last night the new stuff took a hit and I was sinking deep and fast when I stepped in but if the rain eases up for tomorrow (Friday) Sat and Sun should be a hoot.

How much smack could an old guy talk if an old guy could talk smack, an old guy would talk
like Muhammad Ali on crack, if an old guy could talk smack.

oops I think we are going to be accused of hijacking the thread again.

Sat downhill was closed, to much rain and deep mud, but upper section was hot.

If it's practice'n yer seek'n then Pacific is ok on the 5th maybe 6th but the downhill might be a bit wimpy especially if it's me. Uphill looked real good.

On Sat I saw plenty of folks make'n rounds and having fun. The place was ok. Not "Toasted Jalapeno, Onion and Olive Steak & Cheese topped with Chipotle sauce sandwich" ok but "ok" none-the-less ok enough to to ride.

P.S. I'm working MSIE (Microsfoft's Internet Explorer) against Mozillas Firefox here. Text vs Text and Format vs same. We'll see (Humm.mmm.mmmmmmmmmmm?)

Track was pretty good on saturday, cant say I had a good time though. I popped a rear tire in that back rocky section after a couple laps, and then jumped on my brothers 125 and blew his front tire out in the same section, then 20 min later it started raining. I havent had a flat in years so maybe it was just a coincidence or karma...

either way the new dirt that is being brought in is a lot better , there were some lines developing in a couple corners, so it is def getting better

Dang Powers and here I thought I was going fast. Sorry to hear about no air. Had that myself until I borrowed a pump and went 16-lbs. That back section was concrete! I missed Sunday but Sat was pretty good. Downhill sucked big time so suggested mgmt close it off..they did. Top side the place rocked, was perfect for hard track low traction practice. Gotta feel for the no-name-num KTM dude said bad words when his front kept washing out. Dang.

Pics .. just in case you think I'm fibbing.
Fresh dirt

Got H2O

Rut's ..I love'em

Finish

Perspective

Bill have'n fun (grins)
