Garrett or Ted,

I thought I would start this thread to get clarity on the contingency for you 2008 series.

The Kawi factory contingency class payout does not seem to align with your stated contingency class schedule.

As an example:

Kawi only shows contingency for 30+ exp
You show contingency for 30+ exp and 30+ int

How will these be submitted to ensure contingency payout for both classes?

Thanks
D

Also, the +30 and +40 sportsman doesn't show as paying on the P.R.O. site but they do show up on Suzuki? Also, what are the Devol contingencies and will they be paid to the sportsmans classes?

DeVol contingency is: anyone that can win a moto on a Suzuki or a KTM gets $500.

Just kidding!

Man Ted; I'm glad I noticed the "just kidding" out of the corner of my eye as I was jumping out of my seat. I was almost out the door to buy a KTM. I'd also have to sign up in the 50cc beg class and hope the whiteout on my birth certificate was dry before presenting it to you at sign-up. What really stinks is I'd probably still not get a moto win. Guess I'll stick to the next to old-old guy class and my trusty 'ol Yamaha.

Garrett,

Can you weigh in on the topic of contingency. We need you to clarify some of the class/contingency stuff.

Thanks
D

Yes. The factories are supposed to be making the class changes and adjustments on their site. I will clairify this before next week, so everyone is current and understands all the info.

DeVol Contingency will be posted next week as to what the details will be to obtain it.

I'll keep you posted.

I confirmed with Honda and Suzuki, they are good to go. Yamaha and Kawasaki I should know tomorrow, that they are confirmed.

Their website will not be updated soon, but I will make sure that I have everything confirmed so our website will show the current classes paid by the manufacturers.

Originally the factories paid the 30+ Pro and 30+ Int. When we merged the classes, 2006 & 2007, the factory money had to be moved somewhere. Since the growth of the classes we are going back to the original format.

As for DeVol Contingency we will be offering that for rounds 4,6,8,10 & Top Gun.

We will post a breakdown of how to earn it and what the amounts will be, after Rounds 1 & 2.
