oh man. I want to run it the right way (Original way). It has been like two years since I got to ride it the original way.

i like it better the original way. especially on the start. that corner cant handle 40+ riders now off the start or use the amateur gate. i seen guys going off the track and come in where they want areas(cheaters). im not slamming ted, he did a great job prepping the track etc and all the new changes were cool and truth be told i just hate all the right hand corners

Run it backwards, at least at times, that way it is ensured that everyone will both have something to be stoked on and b*tch about. Everyone wins and (I suppose) looses, which of course means that everyone is equal. By the way, I thought it was sick backwards!

sniff, sniff, I'm not whining as much as whimpering a bit.

How about a compromise. Run it backward but NO QUADS that way I at least get the good Washougal ruts.

Then at Top Gun, run it the original way and STILL NO QUADS and we get to run it both ways in the same year Big Grin

I like to call that a win win type of scenario.

Well there are no quads at P.R.O. NNMXS events anyway, and I've heard things about Top Gun being different in that respect this year too...

I like the track backwards. I think the double after the first right hand turn got a little hairy on the starts, but other than that the track seems to be more ballsy running the new way. As far as using the old start and running backwards, I don't think that would work very well, that would make for a screwed up first corner and they would have to wait too long to start the next moto. As far as ruts and that track it comes down to track prep. Last year they didn't get the ruts that they have in the past at most of the events that we went to, and that was due to the fact that they didn't water the track as much as they have in the past. I'm with open class on that one. Washougal used to mean ruts, ruts, and more ruts. I for one hope they go back to watering the hell out of the track in the morning so the track has a chance to develop. Last year at Devols races ( i believe ) they were afraid of rain, hopefully they don't have that threat this year and they can get aggressive with the water hoses.

I seriously doubt it. Ted would rather spend the time working on the track.

I also think Friday practice's have been one of the downfalls to the Pac-West. It puts a big strain on the people who work Friday's, and if you don't show up for it you are behind the one's who can afford to miss an extra day of work.
