That's kind of like a local Pro dropping down to the Jr class just to win a trophy. I guess that is one way to get a paycheck for first place. Neither of them are doing it in the big show so might as well become a side show and make money.

I know its more than likley for the practice right.....Just hope the locals spank em' as well.

Sounds confirmed that the Alessi brothers are going to be at Washougal next weekend for the PRO races too. There's even rumor that Josh Hill might show up. Should be some great racing, hope the locals bring their A games!

Yes the Alessi boys will be at the May 10th and 11th P.R.O. Race at Washougal. There may be some other big name riders also. If we have a huge turnout we will increase the $6,000 purse and pay down further. We expect a very large pro turnout. The Pro class is currently the 2nd largest class at our series.

Thats awesome Bearmore, you think of local pro as a sideshow. They will spend more money getting here than they will be making; at least at the P.I.R. race. I'm sure they are looking to where they could get the best competition during the break so they have to come to the NW. Pro is Pro, It doesnt bother me If Factory guys show up to our races.

I don't doubt you on the showing up because its Washougal But come on.. why not show up for "the biggest payout series" in the NW. Even Ted mentioned he may be upping the ante. You think they are going to turn down the hoards of cash and contingencies that I hear are given out at PRO races? I doubt it!!!!

alessi has never been good at washougal, why not get some practice before they come back in july. they cant practice the week before the national. this makes alot of sense for them

"factory riders" are not able to get factory contingency, it's in the rules of all programs. I say let them come whats the big deal.

It seems you have a problem with not saying what you mean or vise versa. Are they going to come become a sideshow with the rest of us or do it all on their own...? That would totally the same thing as one of us riding the Jr. class. You dont have to race them so what does it matter to you?

Hay guys back it down. Just come to the race, have fun and see what it looks like having a huge class of way fast guys racing Washougal backwards!
