Looks like a pretty good match to me!!! Truly a hats off to the HRMC facility. They addressed all the complaints from the open and in fact probably went overboard in doing so. I saw Ray and his entire staff busting but to keep the track prep’d and the sani-cans were clean all weekend.
Thanks HRMC and Devol for a another really good venue and race!
The Pro classes where huge all weekend and it is amazing to see that many pros putting in the fast laps. Battles for the lead and battles all the way back for position.
Woo Hooo!!!

Me and a guy were battling, in the back of the track we bumped a little and I guess he got pissed off. In the "S" turn before the whoops I went wide, he went inside and he cleaned me out. He was on the gas as he was runing into me. My leg got sucked up into his back fender and I slammed my head (again) into the ground. Broke the buckels on my knee brace, broke the front fender, sheared off the handle on the fuel petcock and really pissed me off. I'm OK, still upset though. Bumping is OK, unintential knock down is OK but a blatent take out aint cool.
Spin next time stop by and say hi, I'll look for ya.

On Friday I ran into a guy the corner before that, I apologized the next time I saw him. If you make a mistake at least man up say it. Oh well, pay backs are hell.

I got a good clacking in that corner from one Mr. Ted Devol. Fortunately, my Dunlop tires were hooking up, my EVO susp kept me planted to the ground and the added weight from the "Toasted Jalapeno, Onion and Olive Steak & Cheese topped with Chipotle sauce" sammich I had just eaten helped keep me upright. Hope your feeling better Paul!
Boy brock has improved alot.I raced him in arenacross in december and we were pretty even.I doubt i could stay with him now.I quit racing that begginer class for p.r.o. series and am sticking to the oldman division

I holeshot 5 of the 8 motos I raced in the 30+ and 40+. On Saturday I was in second right behind Danny (716) and his front tire pushed a little as he was finishing the turn and almost hit him. Then moto 2 holeshot, saw the yellow fender and never let off. I rode hard and kept Danny behinde me for a whole 400 yards then battled with Mike Koen for a while. The wind almost got him. Then on Sunday I holeshot 30+ first moto and was smoking Danny all the way until the 110 foot step-up (what's that. 200 yards into the moto? ) but rode a little beyond my years and stayed with him until the place where Paul got slammed. This time Danny took the DeVol line, go wide/cut in and wham. At that point I stayed put with the clutch in as Danny continued on with the lead and rode his normal race speed which means I never saw him again. Accept for later when I apologized for slamming the piss out of him. I did the Patented outside to inside line that got me by 3 riders including #305 on the straight before the Pro Taper on Saturday. On Sunday I was taking the same line and Kawai #141 was taking the traditional line and WHAAAM. We were both picking bikes up going sorry dude you OK, ya I'm OK are you OK and both got going and did the Pro Taper back to back. Way Way to much fun for a 49 year old dude like me to be having. Thanks to all you for maning up on that dangerous drive to make our event such a great event. Couldn't do it without you. After Brocks first year ever riding he got his first first place trophy and now want's to move up. He's still a beginner along with the other 4 guys he has been battling. None of those guys have a chance even in the last chance of the 250 Jr. He will move up if he wants after the series.
My wife video taped a couple of my motos. Except for the times when I was picking myself up off the ground, I thought I rode half way good. NOT, watching the video I cannot believe how slow it looks. Here I thought I was like Greg Crater or Shon Wilson railing the corners but after watching the tape I looked more like a drunk Brittany Spears getting out of a limo . Moral of the story, never watch yourself on tape unless you are in the dark with Paris Hilton
HMMM that may be my next Motoplayground article
