Know a chronically ill kid who is a fan of SX?: Help us find him/her!
Hey Northwest MX forum followers,

With support from the Monster Energy Supercross promoters Feld Motorsports we (MX for Children – www.mxforchildren.org) will be doing a “Supercross Dream Room Makeover" for one needy child in the Pacific Northwest in conjunction with the April Seattle stop of the Monster Energy Supercross series.

The MX for Children Supercross Dream Room Makeover (SXDRM) is a new program being initiated in Seattle to attempt to put a smile on the face of a chronically ill child. MX for Children and Feld Motorsports are working together to find an appropriate child to bestow this room makeover upon. The ideal recipient would be a child who is a fan of Supercross but unfortunately struggling with a chronic or life threatening illness.
MX for Children is taking volunteers with experience in: interior design, construction, painting, electrical work and home furnishing to put together a team and plan to makeover the selected child’s room.

In late January, MX for Children will convene a selection committee consisting of its volunteers and motorcycle industry participants to select the child for whom the room makeover will be done. When the final selection is made, MX for Children will announce the winner and begin designing the room makeover with the volunteers. The Supercross Dream Room Makeover will take place the first week of April prior to Seattle Supercross and child and family will be filmed for TV as we unveil the room makeover. The winner will also be invited to join MX for Children for our Inside Line Experience in Seattle.

So, if you are interested in helping…all for a great cause or if you know if a needy child, go to : http://www.mxforchildren.org/s...dream-room-makeover/ to volunteer or nominate a kid.
