None taken whatsoever...

I make sure the bike is warmed up...no question. This is the first piston failure I have had on any bike I have owned. (Going back 15 years now).

But, I ASSumed that the piston was fairly new as the previous owner stated it had only 10 hours on it. Yes, after further and closer inspection, the piston does look very worn. The piston pin was glazed as well.

I have now ridden the bike with the replacement piston 3 times. So far so good.

Starts first kick and runs strong. I do agree the Forged is noisier than the Cast. I was a bit worried at first, but that's what everyone is saying on T-Talk too. Plus, the Suzuki motor is just loud compared to other 2-strokes.
