Facebook rumor is EW crashed at Baker and is in the hospital in Skagit(?). Does anybody have more information???

How long does it usually take for a femur to heal? How long till back on bike?

Depending on the break and surgery, it will take at least 8 weeks for healing. That is just the healing time, rehab time is many more. That sucks, man. My thoughts are with you, Eric.

I broke my right femur. I got a rod and two screws in it.
Im at Skagit Valley hospital for a few days.
Just a huge bummer. Ive been really busy with bike work and teaching schools lately.
Im setting here at 2am wide awake after having a muscle spasm in my leg. Sh!tty!!
I should be fine though.
Thanks to everyone! A support system really helps!

Eric, that is a bummer.... I remember when we went to Guam and you had a cast on your leg from breaking your tib. You must have had plans to go somewhere! Get well soon and let us know if there is anything we can do to help even though we are a long ways from Seattle.....

Mattie is being taken care of by a friend of mine. I got up and walking today with a walker. This is a really bad time for this to happen to me. Im kinda stressin.
