Went to a OTMX race this last weekend down in SoCal. The place is called The Ranch and 45m from Temecula. They have a replica track of the old Carlsbad track. NO JUMPS just old school ROUGH MX. Lots of the guys rode the old Carlsbad track and thought new version was close to the point that they added CLAY to help bring back the texture of the original dirt. Blisters on my hands tell more about this track then anything else I could write,great place to ride next winter.
While down got to see the "NEW" National track L.Elsie. Rode there in the past. They put 2.5 M into this project. Lucas oil offroad truck track,National MX track with white plastic horse fence, cement walkways, double tunnel( also cement) access to infield,ponds,monster stepup"KING KONG",flat gravel fenced parking,and the are getting ready to put down the grass to complete the very parklike setting.
