Albany has been bringing in organic material for a year and riders are saying it is the best dirt in the northwest. Eakin has made Portland pretty stinking great so the comments we hear about Albany are killer!
Weather is saying 10% chance of rain and 65+ degrees. PERFECT MOTO WEATHER.
AND ALBANY IS A REALLY FUN TRACK WITH GOOD SAFE AIR.

WOW! That was as good as it gets. The track was soooo good this weekend! It rained Friday night about 1/2 what we needed. So at 5:30 AM we finished what God gave us and the Leaches tilled it up like a garden. The layout they had was really good and the Leach family allowed me to make some changes and it was really fun. P.R.O. built a 375 foot rythum section in front of the bleachers. 14 rollers that were technical because it was super tacky.
Albany has built some REALLY great dirt in the past year that makes for such great traction, it's unbelievably good. There was a 50 yard section of Hog fuel that roughed up so nice. All the jumps held up perfect and provided some auto style points. It was a 65 degrees and partly cloudy so there is no way it could be better racing weather. All the pro's that went to Canada and wallowed in the total slop missed out on a really great event at the Albany round.
Next is WASHOUGAL baby!

Albany was awesome! We'd never been there, but are ready to go back. Another excellent PRO race. Thanks, Ted!

The Pac West is there in July.
We love Albany because they have great jumps that we never have any rider injuries on, but they are big floating FUN air. The Leach Family works hard for us and it help make a great event.

Thanks for the post Ted people appreciate it. It included all the important Details e.g. Time, Temps, whether, Dimensions etc.. twas good like ones most beloved - "Toasted Jalapeno, Onion and Olive Steak & Cheese topped with Chipotle sauce sandwich"? Ok maybe it was lacking but the story was good nonetheless?

Overall track was good,"wood stuff" is worked in making dirt? better. Track layout was fine I was watching so comments are from young Meusling. Talked a lot ( normal) with guys there and all said they liked the layout, dirt, and last weeks race. Few neg's were it could have been longer, and (from Pro riders) more stuff to seperate ability levels.
When you have tracks for everyone to ride ,Albany was VERY GOOD! If your average rider went to any of the national tracks and rode that track at second moto conditions they very probably would NOT have a good time. Watching Denver on TV guys talked about Muddy,Rough<yet riders who race there thought it was "NORMAL"
All the guys I talked with thought Llast weekend was a VERY GOOD RACE,so KUDOS to the DEVOL crew.JR
PS I guess seeing guys get " SCHOOLED" on how to do the woops made that section interesting to me.
