Is 2007 a good year for the Yamaha four stroke? I heard 04 and 05 kx250fs were lemons. Anyone have an opinion? I think I found a new one for 4k.

I'm not a Yami guy (had two, 03/07 big bikes) but my friends with the 07 yz250f's are pretty happy with theres and they've never had any problems (and they've been ridden like they are supposed to be)... I even like riding their bikes...

If $4k is a good deal... the 07 is a good bike!

The 08's turn a bit better and come stock with a higher compression piston. The 08, 09 is a better bike, but there's nothing wrong with an 07 if it's been taken care of. At some tracks Sydney likes her 07 better.

FYI, The 08-09 HC pistons run great in 07 YZFs
