yamaha32The same thing happened to my 2005 yz this weekend at the PRO race at Horn. Looks like Yamaha has a weak link in their clutch baskets.

TRA-742Read what EW? MY 2001 YZ 125 was raced/rode a lot
and it took a year to smoke the clutches, back then I was a chunky 200lb. Now I'm a stealthy 175 on my fresh 09 125. Question: The guy I bought it from has a brand new complete after market heavy duty anodized blue clutch kit, can't remember if it is a barnett or hinson? Spendy$$$! should I buy it? What brand of the two are best? Or should I just run the stock set up and just change clutch plates when needed? I just ride 5-7 lap motos..

E.W. #849If you ride an 06 YZ125. You HAVE to update this part! A MUST! I have seen the old part go out and mess up many motors.
